This leads me to think that the communication between Nuxeo
(JODConverter) and OpenOffice is not purely socket based? If there is
some form of 'file pickup' via the file system, how would this work
using a remote OpenOffice server?
Due to a bug in OOo2.2.x, stream based JODConverter tools have been
disabled. This bug will be corrected in OOo 2.3 and then we will have a
look.
JODConverter is also being rewritten to act as a standalone server in a
future version. May be a way but i think it is redundant ... we will see
when out
