Yes, the problem you have is known for long :(, but is now solved.
Because of some limitations of the Seam remoting, files had to be base64
encoded before beeing sent to the server : this was done using JS in the
FF extension.
The new restletAPI is now operationnal and integrated with Seam
conversation Managament. I just switch the FF extension to use this API
for file upload.
==> the problem is now gone, you should now be able to drag & drop you
complete hard drive into nuxeo 5 :)
The restlet code improvmenent is par of RC.
The new FF plugin is available into the SVN, I'll make the xpi available
(+ upgrade) during the day.
I you want to test right now : grab the RC and build the FF helper for
source.
