Yes. That's how it is done in all our projects.

Ok so if I have a theme-contrib.xml with this content:
<extension target="org.nuxeo.theme.services.ThemeService"
point="themes">
<theme>
<src>META-INF/lite.xml</src>
</theme>
</extension>
I should have an additional theme, if a correct lite.xml exists.
Thanks so far

I'm not sure I understand the question. But the theme-contrib.xml
file
for instance is not "overwritten".
Only files in nuxeo.war (and others explicitely specified somewhere
in
a deployment-fragment.xml) are overwritten.
The other are juste registered and used directly or indirectly from
MANIFEST.MF.

Hi!
Are all files overwritten and used from a Plugin?
for example :
org.nuxeo.ecm.platform/nuxeo-platform-webapp-core/src/main/
resources/
OSGI-INF/theme-contrib.xml
with one from a plugin jar in:
/src/main/resources/OSGI-INF/theme-contrib.xml
Or are there some exceptions?
