Hello,
Maven is the key of your success. Read the book "better build with maven".
Start your jurney with a pom.xml that works fine and then test your project
with as many testcase as possible. If all is working fine then you can deploy.
Book is a quite complex example; may be rebuilding it from scratch may help you
to understand the extension points and how they are loaded into Nuxeo layout.
The key is maven. Fix the parent project and you can find your way out.
