What server did you download ? 5.1.6 ? You should try to start your
server with a bind ip (./run.sh -b 192.168.1.160)

I'm yet another evaluator of Nuxeo attempting to get the RCP client
to talk to the Server. I've followed the instructions in the
Administration manual and reviewed threads in this forum (I've not
found one that was actually resolved where someone has gotten this
to work). Unfortunately, I'm not able to connect to the server.
When I run the RCP client I get the following error:

I downloaded the server and client last week, so I have the latest.
I've tried the RCP both within Ecliipse and with the prebuilt RCP
standalone application.
My interest in using Nuxeo is as an extension of my Eclipse RCP
application, so I can't avoid getting this to work (and just focus
on the Web component). I'm wondering if the RCP concept is a dead
end here and Nuxeo should be thought of in terms of its Web
components.
Thanks in advance of any advice you might have for me.
