Hello, What server did you download ? 5.1.6 ? You should try to start your server with a bind ip (./run.sh -b 192.168.1.160).
Nuxeo RCP is not a dead techno at all, on the contrary, there should be interesting evolutions in this current year concerning this module. The 5.2 M4 cannot connect because of a small evolution that will be corrected for GA.
