Okay be serious now. What is the purpose of your "custom" Java application? Focus on technics not on the vision or business rules. Is this a standalone, a rich client? Is the result of your work deployed upon 10,000 desktops or only a few servers. Just descide if your application may be a Nuxeo plugin or if the Nuxeo plugin may be just an add-on to your application. Next we can talk about interface and extension points. There is much more skilled people around here for abyssal research in the Nuxeo ocean but I think I can help. I am myself working on a Nuxeo plugin project so ... why not?
