You should modify
nuxeo-features/nuxeo-platform-lang/src/main/resources/nuxeo.war/WEB-INF/classes/messages_de.properties.
If you don't want to check-out/recompile the source files you can simply
do the adjustments directly in the following jar:
NuxeoServer/server/default/deploy/nuxeo.ear/system/nuxeo-platform-lang-5.2-SNAPSHOT.jar/nuxeo.war/WEB-INF/classes/messages_de.properties
In this way, your changes should be available every time you'll restart
the JBoss.
