Hi all, Here is something to make the previous mail by SF on the 2010 roadmap somewhat concrete: I have just setup a wiki page for people to try a new addon for Nuxeo DM (that might be included by default in the future) and that is already included in the nightly build of Nuxeo DAM:
http://www.nuxeo.org/xwiki/bin/view/Main/AutomatedCategorization In short this addon makes Nuxeo automatically fill in the subjects, coverage and language fields of documents with enough text content using a set of pre-trained statistical models. Here is a set of english Wikipedia / Wikinews articles converted to PDF so that you can try the categorization with a quick drag and drop of those files in DM or a single Zip import in DAM: http://www.nuxeo.org/xwiki/bin/download/Main/QuickStart_DAM/SampleArticles.zip Any feedback is always much appreciated :) -- Olivier
