I'm a big fan of starting simple and building on success. Rather than trying to hatch a grand scheme or make unattainable commitments, I would rather focus on how can we being to be more engaged in the process. For example, a commitment to a quarterly (or even twice yearly) webcast on roadmap, priorities, and progression (since the last roadmap meeting), with an opportunity for participants to provide feedback and ask questions.
