Yes but "aspect" is more - allow me to use this term - "fluid", it's a technical device used to attach requested information on multiple (and unrelated) document types. Such flexibility is good but also comes at a price and must be used wisely. They allow attachment of new information without redefining the static underlying model type. Anyway it's clearly a domain, model concept that I would not like to be solved or emulated in a UI view (conditional display); this in a pursuit for good isolation and also better integration, formalism and documentation if I need to integrate the system (ie. with CMIS that seems also at good point with Nuxeo).
I think if I go with nuxeo I will sure: - define additional types and associated metadata - define custom PDF/A metadata extractors to compile fields automatically from PDF metadatas when docs are inserted Is it possible easily? Aditionally, the out-of-the box nuxeo does automatically index file content like Excel files, allowing searches with wildcard matches? thanks! -- Posted by "emaxt6" at Nuxeo Discussions <http://nuxeo.org/discussions> View the complete thread: <http://www.nuxeo.org/discussions/thread.jspa?threadID=3417#10406> _______________________________________________ ECM mailing list [email protected] http://lists.nuxeo.com/mailman/listinfo/ecm To unsubscribe, go to http://lists.nuxeo.com/mailman/options/ecm
