Got it working. Found that changing WAR_deployment-fragment.xml in nuxeo.ear/OSGI-INF/templates does the trick.

WSS does not play ball though. Have created https://jira.nuxeo.org/browse/NXP-4998 for this issue and patch files to fix it.

Sean

Hmm....

Does not work for me - the entry in application.xml does not change:

<module>
   <web>
       <web-uri>nuxeo.war</web-uri>
       <context-root>/nuxeo</context-root>
   </web>
</module>

I'm using the jboss distribution. Is it that only the tomcat version works with this config setting?

Regards,

Sean

Hello Sean,
Yes it does mean that it is possible now. We have tried it with success on our side, but you do need to update your custom theme (if applicable) as they would need to use this variable instead. I think the properties of the opensocial dashboard also have to be modified as it is using a static url (we are using the "old" jsf dashboard).

Hi,

It's often been asked on the list 'can one change the web application context from "nuxeo"?', to which the answer is currently no.

However, I notice in 5.3.1 that there is an entry in nuxeo.properties:

org.nuxeo.ecm.contextPath=/nuxeo

Does this mean that this feature is 'on the cards'? I can't find a related JIRA issue to watch - is there such?

Thanks and regards,

Sean
