I/we don't use the OpenSocial Dashboard (only the old JSF one) and so
can't help with that issue.
Sorry,
Sean

Helo again!!
Thanks a lot for your response, i have changed the
"org.nuxeo.ecm.contextPath" property and the
"WAR_deployment-fragment.xml" file by changing the context path to
"/ecm", it works fine with the url "www.mydomain.com:8080/ecm
<http://www.mydomain.com:8080/ecm>" except for the dashboard, it sends
the next error:
The requested resource (/nuxeo/opensocial/gadgets/makeRequest) is not
available.
I have not patched, it has something to do this?
Do i need to modify another file?

Hi,
On 5.3.2 you need to :
1. In you configuration file change the org.nuxeo.ecm.contextPath
property
2. In your own template directory create and amend as necessary a
WAR_deployment-fragment.xml (failing that just amend the file in
the templates/common/OSGI-INF/templates directory)
3. Apply the 2 subversion patch files attached to the JIRA
(https://jira.nuxeo.org/browse/NXP-4998) and drop the new jars
into your nuxeo instance.
And away you go....
Hope that helps,
Sean

Got it working. Found that changing
WAR_deployment-fragment.xml in nuxeo.ear/OSGI-INF/templates
does the trick.
WSS does not play ball though. Have created
https://jira.nuxeo.org/browse/NXP-4998 for this issue and
patch files to fix it.

Sean

Hmm....
Does not work for me - the entry in application.xml does
not change:
<module>
<web>
<web-uri>nuxeo.war</web-uri>
<context-root>/nuxeo</context-root>
</web>
</module>
I'm using the jboss distribution. Is it that only the
tomcat version works with this config setting?

Sean

Hello Sean,
Yes it does mean that it is possible now. We have
tried it with success on our side, but you do need to
update your custom theme (if applicable) as they
would need to use this variable instead. I think the
properties of the opensocial dashboard also have to
be modified as it is using a static url (we are using
the "old" jsf dashboard).

Hi,
It's often been asked on the list 'can one change
the web application context from "nuxeo"?', to
which the answer is currently no.
However, I notice in 5.3.1 that there is an entry
in nuxeo.properties:
org.nuxeo.ecm.contextPath=/nuxeo
Does this mean that this feature is 'on the
cards'? I can't find a related JIRA issue to
watch - is there such?
Thanks and regards,
Sean
