Hi, We have been using Nuxeo 5.1.3 with MySQL for 3 years --to store and share company PDF documents. Currently the system is handling 140 GB of data consist of over 40,000 pdf documents. We didn't do any customization on the system; simply Nuxeo as file-sharing solution with nice search feature.
The system work fine except for one annoyance. The document index (nxsearch-compass) sometimes got corrupted and we have to reindex everything to bring the system back. To prevent the problem I routinely perform complete reindexing on every Sunday to keep the possibility of index corruption low. Recently, with the size of document database increased, the reindex process take painfully long time (6 Hours) I'm planning to migrate from 5.1.3 to Nuxeo DM 5.4, with hope that the recently updated and simplified Nuxeo might improve our situation. What is the simplest way to migrate data from 5.1.3 to 5.4 ? Can I simply export from 5.1.3 and import to 5.4 via nuxeo-shell ? Does it suppose to work that way ?
