It is possible to build really good UI experience using a separate technology and still get *all* the value of the core Nuxeo product.
I have built Nuxeo solutions with highly customized UI by modifying JSFs and extending functionality. This works well and you can take advantage of many pre-built components. However, I have also used Google Web Toolkit to build a really slick web application that leverages Nuxeo for it's document management capability. In this case I created a REST api to have the two layers communicate. So, I don't think there is a correct way to do this - in my opinion it's more a matter of your business requirements, comfort with technologies, etc. Cheers, Bruce. --- Mailing list: [email protected] Forum: http://forum.nuxeo.org/f/1/
