Congratulations, Tammy on graduation!!
I am usually merely a "lurker" on the list because I am usually too busy
to post, but I would like to second your plea for a renewed focus on
ecofeminism. The list has seemed so quiet lately; I wonder why?
As far as topics are concerned, I don't have time to write much, but have
been thinking alot lately about Carol Adams' works "Sexual Politics of
Meat" and "Neither Man nor Beast". Has anyone else read these and have
any thoughts? I'll come back later today and write more. I suppose such
a broad question is not completely fair? ;-)
I know there was a thread going a while back on the topics of
vegetarianism and veganism...I am in the process of "converting" to
vegan - I've been a vegetarian for about 4 and 1/2 years - I don't
want to repeat the same threads as before, but I am wondering if any
of you out there who are vegans could recommend books or info. about
how I can make sure I get enough vitamins and nutrients. POst
privately or to the list if you think others might be interested.
Thank-you thank-you thank-you !!!!
Take care out there in cyber-land!
