Yes, I agree that superficially and in actuality, Carol Browner did
provide a spirit of optimism but she was and is no hero of mine and
I've had personall (too personal) dealings with her here and in D.C.
BTW, I disagree with your assessment of that sweet blue eyed white
haired grandfatherly type who preceded her. I don't think he was
eliteist. I think he was shy and let too many others do the mischeif.
