JOB OPENING
College of St. Benedict/St. John's University, St. Joseph,
Minnesota. The philosophy department formed jointly by the
College of St. Benedict--a liberal arts college for women--and
St. John's University--a liberal arts college for men--is seeking
applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the
assistant professor level beginning Sept. 1996. AOS: Ethics; AOC
feminist philosophy, applied ethics. Ph.D. preferred, ABD
considered. Interviews will be scheduled at the APA Eastern. We
seek a committed undergraduate teacher interested in teaching a
variety of philosophy courses and Core Curriculum seminars. The
two schools share a single curriculum, joint academic
departments, a single academic adminsitration, but maintain their
separate identities, especially their traditions of providing
distinctive gender-specific educational opportunities for women
