It would be ecologically friendly and humane! Please don't let
your taste buds dictate your morals. If babies tasted good would you eat
them, too?

try stuffed butternut squash, and wild rice instead of dressing--just as
filling, satisying, and makes for a beautiful holiday table. the rest of the
holiday servin's go great with it too. then you have less impact and that's
definitely something to be merry for.
happy winter solstice

I think I see what you mean? But what if something ate me, like when
camping? A bear? Would that be okay? Helen Marsh made an interesting point
that we're all animals, and animals eat each other?
Anyway, I wish everybody here a really merry Christmas. [I confess I'll
probably have the drumstick again and seconds if the rest of the family
leaves anything. It just wouldn't be Christmas without the turkey I guess.]
Peace, brotherhood and love, Betty
