Dear Devon,

Thanks for your previous post, and this one. "Conviviality" is a wonderful,
wonderful way to put it, "with life"! My own sense is that trying to define
for ourselves and each other our own spiritual paths, or lack thereof, is a
necessary step for some in self-definition, but ultimately all these paths and
non-paths will forever exist, and the self-definition should take place within
the context of a group or family or whatever who are on a similar path, and
thus can offer support and advice. I'm a little leery of defining ecofeminist
goals spiritually, for that reason. As we have already seen here, even in the
last 48 hours, for some these are deeply spiritual issues, and for others they
are not. In truth, it seems to me since there is no way to avoid that such
issues are political, that is the main agenda.

With warmth in return,
Jane
