Hey Rachel,
you can obtain vitamin B12 from nutritional yeast, vitamin B12 fortified
cereals (such as Nutri-Grain), vitamin B12 fortified soy milk. Other
sources include tempeh, miso, and seaweed. The most convenient way to get
vit B12 is by taking (vegan) supplements which isn't as healthy as
obtaining it from natural sources, but it'll do.

Rachel,

I have been a healthy vegan for several years now and I don't
take any B12 supplements. Some of the latest medical research has
suggested that our bodies produce enough B12 on their own but if you are
really worried, all of the other sources that have been suggested are
really good. Nutritional yeast is my favorite food!!! Of course, not all
brands have large amounts of B12. I think that Red Star has the most.

I would like my name to be removed from the ecofem receiving list. I had
initially subscribed to receive all information on Studies in Women when
I was doing a course on this. Any information received by me on this
subject at the moment is only being deleted and I find it is a waste of
my time. Thank you for your understanding.

Right on! There is indeed an air of moral superiority infecting the topic
and it sounds like just another form of political correctness stuff to me.
