Good to see a bit of humor on the list...thanks anne. :)

Just to chip in my 2cents, about the feminine/nature/spirituality discussion,
to me it seems that, in the westernized societies, we are enculturated by
the media, by peer attitudes, by all the fabrication of human activity that
surrounds us and we never even get the chance to experience what is truly
"nature". After spending some time in the Amazon jungle and witnessing
a group of people who are (in my very humble non-expert opinion) in
between their own culture and western culture. And western culture is (by
and large) obliterating large portions of their culture. They were a group
of people very intertwined with their environment. They literally lived in
it, not sheilded from it. It was natural for them to value every part of
their world and not just themselves. But that is changing (I am sorry, but
mostly due to Christian missionaries). It is a sad thing to witness. It
made me realize how far from the "real world" that I live. Sitting behind
a computer terminal in an air-conditioned building without windows.
