I have been asked to be the archivist for EcoFem, at least for the
time being. There is plenty of space for people to archive papers,
bibliographies, syllabi, book reviews... Please send materials that
you wish to have archived to me: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

As an example of an archived paper, I have posted my own, "Women and
Structural Adjustment in the Third World." This is a student paper, being
that I am a senior undergraduate in anthropology. I am planning to write
my senior thesis on this topic and would appreciate any comments.

The EcoFem archives are found under the Environment directory at csf.
One can get here via gopher using the command
   gopher csf.colorado.edu
One can get here via software like mosaic by using the url
   gopher://csf.colorado.edu

My particular paper is under /Environment/Student-Papers
But I will work with Stefanie and other archivists at CSF to
create whatever directories under /Environment that prove to be
useful to EcoFem.
It is best to send straight text files although other formats are
sometimes used in CSF archives. Material archived for EcoFem will
also appear under another major directory heading,
/Feminist Studies as well as the /Environment directory.

The monthly discussions are automatically archived. These can be
retrieved by gopher, mosaic, ftp ... But they can also be retrieved
by email. To obtain, for example, the discussions for sep94, please
send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the 3 word command
   get ecofem sep94

Please let me know if there are other ways I can help.
