I would be happy to talk about Piercy. She too is one of my favorites
and I also second the vote for Starhawk. Some others I've enjoyed are:
"The Kin Of Ata Are Waiting For You"
"Wanderground"
"Herland" by Charlotte Perkins
I can get authors if anyone wants them.
One thing I always liked about "Woman On the Edge of Time" is the fact
that the future utopia was not set in stone, it was up to the present
generation to make it happen throughout whatever means possible. It is
our repsonsibility and to expect it to happen without action on our part
is simply just silly.
