The recent discussion of the seeming lack of "sisterhood" among
women and the appearance of "brotherhood" (for lack of a better word) among
men ignores many of differences between men--differences of class, race,
sexuality, nationality, and others. That apparent ease of companionship
between men does not include all men--of course.
In addition, is the seeming competition between women for men
limited to heterosexual women here? Or does it include all women regardless
of differences within that category?
