agree.

 Very

Sorry, your logic has lost me here. You do not know this. I think you
make an assumption that 'natural' is good. Problems with this assumption
are for example:

"It is natural for men to rape women" an often used excuse for such
behaviour not just by the perpetrator but by judges.

The point is not whether it is natural but whether it is desirable. And by
whom. the philosophical argument could go on and on about morals but i
think it would have no end.

 In a
>balanced ecosystem, life forms on the EarthHome live in balance by eating
>each other, whether as decomposers such as earthworms, flies and such or
>predators who eat grazers of grazers who eat plants.

Agree with this but it still does not rule out extinction due to 'natural'
causes. Such as the dodo bird or dinasaurs. remember we don't know what
killed them for sure.

Surely though, what is desirable is that we actively attempt to prevent
further extictions by changing many of our practices - indeed i think the
whole kit and kaboodle!

 Eating plants does not
>make you any better than those who eat animals. Plants are a higher form of
>life who daily experience the energy of the sun and live in an excited or
>exalted state. It is my theory that plants domesticated man in order to
>disperse seeds worldwide. Thus my thesis, eat the lower energy animals and
>leave the higher energy plants alone.

I like your argument here.

So true. But in the city - arent we deep in it? At least, whats that
black stuff which hangs above my head and hides the sun?

>Eating meat does not make you bad. Eating plants does not make you good. The

Absolutely agree.
