Mary, Greg posted to me after my first request to him to use the same form
of address with women as with men, that he thought my concern of little
importance. That is condescending and typical of male oppression. I find
it intriguing that the sort of dialogue that I send is criticised so much
whereas the males on this list are hardly criticised at all for far worse -
sometimes blatantly rude attacks, or obvious sexism. I have sent many of
my posts to independant (as possible) Australian observeers and asked
whether I am coming on too strong. These women have said that my posts are
perfectly ok, and that what is probably being objected to is the fact that
I am straight forward and don't feel like taking sh*t from anyone.
