- "Talking about Development" -
An interview series on development issues by Vera Britto
"Talking about Development" is an interview series where seasoned
professionals, politicians, grassroots activists, and others,
talk about what is "development" and how their work fits in
with the larger social, political, and economic
framework of the world we live in and the goals they seek.
Topics covered reach out in the vast realm of "development"
which include, but are not restricted to, health, human rights,
women's rights, reproductive rights, education,
economic, and social rights, foreign relations,
international and national politics, citizenship and democracy,
the environment, etc. These current interviews mix personal
and macro politics experiences to delve into the complex dynamics
of the world we live in. Interviews will be published grouped
in different sets.
The first set of seven interviews published include:
