Change to me, does not imply "good" or "bad" While patriarchy is changing, and
finding new ways to oppress (such as through violent repression increasing,
child-protective laws which don't allow women the same access to certain jobs,
etc). Perhaps life for *some* women is better now, but I am of the opinion that
until all humans are free, no humans are free. Until men and women of all races,
ethnicity, ages, sexual orientations, etc are viewed as equals - patriarchy is
just as strong as always.
While I think that there have been some positive changes -I think that the
patriarchy hasn't been broken down. It still exists, doesn't it?
Not being cynical, just beine realistic. Just stating my opinion on things.
