I'm reading Elaine Brown's book, A Taste of Power, right now...what a sad
and beautiful story. I haven't finished yet, in part because it makes me
cry, and I have to put it down. The Panthers were doing it... movement
toward a global revolution of all oppressed. And they themselves were
brutally oppressed -- murdered.

I'm also reading some liberation theology - Robert MacAfee Brown's book on
Gustavo Gutierrez. What beautiful theology, that says that God takes sides
- with the oppressed, and against the oppressors... that calls for people to
live in poverty, until there is no more poverty...
