Hello, I am a graduate student at the Evergreen State College in Olympia,
Washington. Every year we have a unique forum which pays tribute to
Rachel Carson. (environmentalist, feminist, ecologist, author of Silent
Spring) Last year we were happy to have Charles Wilkinson as our guest
speaker.
If anyone on this list is interested in being a speaker for this years
forum or knows of someone who would be a good speaker please let me
know. Also, we are trying to get in touch with Terry Tempest Williams to
see if she would enjoy speaking at this forum. If anyone has her email
or phone I'd appreciate it if you could forward this message or send it

I am a volunteer for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender
Programs Office at the University of Minnesota. I subscribe to
news services to search for calls for papers on GLBT topics. We
are trying to develop a Gay Studies Department here.
Anyways, a friend tuned me in to your ecofem list and I have
found many postings of calls for papers that include GLBT issues.
