Dear Listies (?),
I'm organising the Swansea LitEnv Conference, March 1997, and I've
found that we have a lot of papers on DH Lawrence. It occurred to me
that a book of essays on Law and ecology might be a good idea, so I'm
asking for proposals for essays to complement those presented at the
conference, some of which will go into this proposed volume
(tentatively titled 'DH Lawrence and the Environmental Problematic').
In particular, I'm looking for:
Ecofeminist approaches / critiques,
Essays on Lawrence's 'Indians' / New Mexico writings,
Other subjects might be:
Lawrence's animals (evangelical and otherwise); L's nature writing;
the body / politic; L and Darwin. I am open to suggestions. Please
