I gave up! You "ecofeminist" dictators have won! You can have your listserv
free of Doctress Neutopia and her terrible writings that are so, so personal!
I write in a personal style in order to tell the suppression I am
experiencing. Your email to me is part of the suppression! By joining
this listserv I was hoping to find like-minded spirit who would be
supportive and interested my struggle against the Ecovillage patriarchy
and matriarchy which supports them. I don't see this email as constructive,
kind or understanding. So I am leaving this listserv since you even went
to the Top Man in charge of the listserv about my essays! I think it is
a crime that you sent me such an email to intimate me.

Doctress Neutopia

> Dear Neutopia,
>
> I am writing as the Coordinator of ECOFEM in order to ask you to
> focus your messages on the topic of Ecofem: Studies in Women &
> Environment. As the ECOFEM subscribers' update requests, messages
> are to remain succinct; please refrain from sending messages longer
> than 2-3 screens. Additionally, the information should be pertinent
> to the ECOFEM community. At present, many of your messages are
> directly linked to particular people, and they remain quite personal.
> Obviuously, you are free to e-mail those ECOFEM subscribers who wish
> to learn more, but please refrain from sharing personal details with
> the entire ECOFEM community as this burdens the list's "traffic
> flow."
>
> Although ECOFEM is open to frank discussion of topics related to
> feminist ecology, ecofeminism, etcetera, it should not be used as a
> personal campaign against individuals. Some of your recent messages
> border on this, and I ask you to consider how you phrase your
> information and which information you share.
>
> I am empathethic to your arguments, and I do see some of the
> connections you wish to make, but in the spirit of ECOFEM it is also
> important to stay focused upon the list's topic. Feel free to
> contact me directly, should you wish to discuss this further. I have
> also copied this message to the csf coordinator as he is responsible
> for the smooth running of all lists linked to csf.
>
> Best wishes,
