Lori, What a pleasure to encounter you on this list-- and my apologies
for not only leaving out the poems and stories in my brief table of
contents, but adding insult to injury by SAYING I was leaving them out!
Sorry-- I just had the essays in my head because they are part of the
book I'm working on.
I quickly looked up Lori's poem "Badland Babes" in the Fall 1997
issue--and found it a delight--extraordinary, original. And the
standard of creative work in PHOEBE is always high. If it wasn't exam
week I WOULD list it all! As a fiction writer myself, I know how easily
we writers are forgotten.
