Thank you for the gracious apology. Now that I have a copy of PHOEBE's Fall
1997 issue in hand, I'll gladly take the time to acknowledge the artists and
other writers featured in the collection. Unfortunately, I don't yet have
first issue of this two-volume series on Ecofeminism and Ecocriticism.
Perhaps someone who does can pay tribute to the work in it. SUNY Oneonta's
organizers of the "Sharp Eyes II: Multicultural Perspectives on
Environmental Writing" (the conference where much of this work was first
showcased) took great care to engage participants in multiple ways of
knowing. PHOEBE, too, cultivates this richness.
