hello,

I have recently made a series of changes in my
consumer choices that now make me a more earth-friendly
consumer. i had decided sometime ago to do this,
and to change my consumer choices step by step.

 i've practically eliminiated paper products
from my household, and what's left, is 100% recycled. I've been
going to a nearby (laregely organic) food co-op for a substantial amount
of my food consumption, where I also can find
earth-friendly cleaners (all kinds) and personal
hygene products. i never use styrofoam or disposable
stuff if i have a choice.

I've practically stopped using dry clearners, because
I learned about how they harm the environment and our
skin. this covers a lot of what i consume, but not all.
I am ready to make more changes.

so I have a few questions for other list members on this:
- i had heard teabags are bad for the environment,
but i never got a detailed explanation, anyone
know about this?
- do you know of any good web sites that give people
this kind of information (earth friendly choices to make on an
individual consumer basis)
- i would like to buy organic milk products, the kind that
does not have this bovine hormone junk, but
i've had a heck of a time finding products (yogurt and cheese)
that tell you, the consumer, that they are bh free - anyone
know more about such producers/distributors?

i think that's all that i can think for now...
thanks in advance for any more info...
