Rebecca:

In Chicago we have the "Greener Cleaner" which is "dry cleaning" - but
not in the usual way. I don't know the specific process but there is no
dioxin residue and is much more environmentally sound. It is more
expensive but worth it.

"How does one become a butterfly?" she asked. "You must want to fly so
much that you are willing to give up being a caterpillar."

Organic food contacts thru Organic Trade Association:
[EMAIL PROTECTED] or www.ota.com--
The two main organic dairy people are Organic Valley - Wisconsin
and Washington dairies, and Horizon with a big dairy in Idaho. Also Albert
Strauss in Bolinas, Calif. in glass -
If you are in Colorado, Wild Oats or Alfalfas will have these
brands, maybe others. Also stonyfield yogurt makes organic now, as does
altadena dairy (some) nancy's yogurt (some organic) and ben and jerry's
ice cream, while not organic is BST free.
Good luck - I think organic dairy also tastes better. Organic
Valley makes alot of cheeses, and butter, ghee.. Horizon's Low-Fat Cheddar
is first low fat cheese i have ever liked.
And while you are at it-- stop by http://www.ams.usda.gov/nop
(The site to comment on Proposed Organic Rules) and let them know how you
feel about keeping high organic standards! the OTA web site has posted
their preliminary comments. Comment period closes on April 30th.
bon appetit! and check out your local farmer's market if you can
find one, or a CSA.
