Greenpeace accused Italy Friday of flouting European Union laws on =
driftnet fishing, which can ensnare dolphins and whales. The =
environmental group called on the EU to ban the nets altogether at a =
meeting of fisheries ministers on June 8. The international community =
already frowns on driftnets - a method of fishing used to catch =

United Nations called for a moratorium on the practice in 1992, but the =
