In April 1998, 28 students were arrested outside of Sea World's amusement
park in Orlando, Florida at a peaceful protest.
The group, now known as the "Sea World 13" was found guilty of
resisting officers without violence, although none resisted. They
go to sentencing on September 9th, 1998. These student activists, none
of whom are repeat offenders, are up for 10 days in jail (two protesters
are up for 30 days) with a fine of $2,000.00.

Please add your voice to protest this harsh and unjust treatment of
activists...
give your opinion to Judge Stephen Carter (407) 836-2020
Judge Carter is currently under investigation for letting repeat spouse
abusers go free, while it looks like he may send peaceful animal activists
to jail!!

Email me for further information about the Sea World 13, or more info
about Sea World's treatment of marine mammals, or the behaviors of orca
whales in captivity.

Again, I believe it is up to the people to help right this violation of
freedom of assembly and freedom of speech!
