++Angela, I have nothing against your belief in blind faith (in God), but I
believe that many people use this type of "borne again" Christianity as a crutch
or opiate to sustain them through life. The problem with Christianity is the
dogmas involved (including that of opposing contraception and then strangely
enough opposing abortion - so young girls and women are supposed to suffer
constant pregnancies and then suffer the shame and expense of an unwanted
pregnancy and/or then slip into poverty as sole parents (if very young) or
be forced to give their babies up for adoption.)
Show me the peace, love joy and happiness in all this Angela...explain to me why
desperate women have died horrible deaths from septacemia through trying to
self-abort an unwanted pregnancy when abortions were illegal. Show me the
peace love and joy in the poor children of Asia abandoned by their mothers
who can't afford to keep them and have sold their children into
prostitution. One country (religious?)in Asia won't allow contraception or
contraceptive advice to be advertised in the media.

++You may very well be wrong about a plan Angela. I believe that humans have
the power to determine their own destiny. We are making such a collective
mess of the world however that some people are finding it easier to explain
away all that happens as "the will of God" instead of pro-actively trying to
make things better. This is a cop-out.
