What makes these people feel they have a right to do that--is it EVIL?!?
Does anyone see the irony in it all?

Hi!
Bertina - are you saying that all animal testing research is done by ONLY
Christians? And that ONLY Christians benefit (using the word loosely, because
we really would benefit more by just leaving the poor animals alone) however,
that is how science is looking at it - animal testing as a benefit (big lie!)
- anyway, do only Christians benefit from these tests? Only Christians eat
animals?
I think you should Stop the generalizations! Some religions still kill animals
to use in their rituals - endangered animals like turtles, etc. Other
religions kill animals for food/medicine - shark fins, tiger parts, etc. Why
are they excluded from this? Everyone is involved in this mess - everyone has
to play a part in cleaning it up. What I said was how do you present the
"testing on animals and using their parts for jewelry and medicine as evil
(your word) I would use the word cruel to Christians and other religions."
When we tell them it is cruel (obvious to some) and they say "no it benefits
humans - that's God's will" What would you say to them in this regard? Why
does it not benefit humans to test on animals, kill animals for medicine and
why is it not in accordance with our stewardship to the animals?" How is it
more greed and not God? I have the answer - do you? Are you just poised to
generalize against Christians or do you understand that ALL people Christians
and every religions want/need to know WHY before they will consider stopping?
Bertina - Why shouldn't we test on animals? Why shouldn't we kill animals for
jewelry? What's morally wrong with it?
My answer: God did not create the animals for greed and avarice. We should
be treating the animals as co-creations as part of the balance with nature -
not as objects of our desire to make ourselves prettier, wealthier, healthier
.. . .undue cruelty is obvious to me also unGodlike
My two cents - I'm sure you agree - but now let's get them (the people who
still argue that animal testing benefits anyone or anything, etc.) let's get
them to agree it doesn't! and
I truly believe that all the medicine we humans need is in the Rainforests of
the world - Hopefully, we can stop them from destroying it all before we
discover it!
Give them reasons and give them alternatives - it's our only hope!
You can't defend the animals rights if you can't justify they have rights!

Peace!

Hi!
BB You know what it tells me? It tells me that people want to make God
accomdate to them. They are saying if we created God, then we can recreate God
to Goddess! How wrong! God created us - we can only re-create our
understanding of that! That if the true God does not fulfill their personal
ideologies and needs then let's create a Goddess who can. But is she real - a
real spirit? - or a manifestation of cultural observations on fertility and
life on Earth? Earth does not give life - that is your clue to dig deeper -
Earth sustains life - a flower does not give birth to a flower - the seed
gives the life - their are many reasons for all the mother goddess creatrix
beliefs - escaping the truth that does not accomdate personal desires to find
a different truth that will (even if it is a lie that can not be proven or
justified to an intelligent being) is one of them! You can not intelligently
justify Earth Goddess Worship to me! There aren't any words in the universe
that would explain such silliness - it is an insult to God to say that Earth
Creation is the deity - God is the deity - Earth is the garment of the deity -
Mother Nature is God's garment. Mother Goddess is not a separate deity - she
is a cultural manifestion of the feminine face of God - still one God - many
faces!
Our galaxy has one God with many faces and Earth has many spirits -In my
opinion - you had that backwords - The One Spirit is the Holy Spirit of God -
the other spirits are in nature! We become one fellowship of many spirits
with The Holy Spirit - but we would all have to believe for that to happen -
what are the odds of that? Given that you are now leaning on pre-Jesus pagan
worship to find answers? As if things were so great back then. People were
so nice and kind to the animals and to the Earth - yeah right - does CHAOS
mean anything to you? That is what the Earth was before Jesus arrived - chaos
- cruel and rude - read your history carefully.
Peace!

Angela ever heard of humanitarianism? It doesnt have to be connected to
Christianity to have meaning! The Native Americans respected animal and
plant life and all the Earth - how is that connected to Christianity?
