The Department of Biological Sciences at Towson University in Baltimore,
Maryland invites applications for one semester, part-time (adjunct) position
teaching a upper-level undergraduate course in principles of
environmental/biological conservation.
Dates of employment: Spring Semester 1999 (28 Jan - 17 May)
Course title: Environmental Conservation (BIOL 310), 4 credits
Number/nature of students: 24 junior/senior level undergraduates
Days/times: Class meets Monday and Wednesdays 12:30 - 3:15
Some of this time (approximately 2.5-3 hours) can be used for
lecture, remaining time would be used for on and off campus
laboratories, recitation, discussion, student presentations, etc.
Salary: $4200
Minimum qualifications: M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology or field closely related to
environmental and/or biological conservation.
