Jake:
I am very interested in the work that you are doing for the buffalo and I
applaude you for it. Lets not get out of control though. I have a dog that
stays at home in my house when I go to work. I work 8 hours a day, 5 days a
week to pay for the house he stays in. He is in no way abused or damaged
because of this. (What am I supposed to do let him roam free in the
neighborhood? to the dangers of being injured by a car or any other fate
that could be extremly unpleasant). I am sitting here picturing him all
curled up on his big, fluffy bed dreaming of chasing rabitts or something.
(Animal instinct). Yes, I agree that some dogs and other animals are abused
by their owners, and I do not feel that a dog should be tied in the backyard
wondering when they will get some attention. My dog lives and plays hard
and is a spoiled little brat sometimes. He swims for miles in the river
that I live on and people say that is abuse. He loves it! He is part of my
family and if anything ever happened I would be heartbroken. I know him,
and I know what he likes, does'nt like and what is best for him. Fighting
for animal rights is all good but I am just not sure I can relate to this
statement as being anything good for animals.
No disrespect meant to your position and feelings as a human,
