Yes, I meant "fertility" to imply biodiversity, not just (or even,
especially)human or human pet reproduction. The related debate on "terminator
genes," as Chris King pointed out, makes this very immediate. Fertility is
life (as is death)! Human overpopulation does not make the world, as a whole,
more fertile, at least in this generation, but rather has choked the world. I
never meant to imply humans should be MORE reproductive, but that we should
honor the fertility of all life, which might mean putting a check on our own!
