Shit! What can we do about this? Should we give up driving cars altogether as a way of disconnecting from this bullshit? It's another imperial contradiction. Our cities (at least L.A.) are built around cars, fragmented, separated, totally isolated without cars, yet to participate in a car is to participate in one of the most antiecological activities around anywhere. The car is an example where it isn't "them", it's "us", and "they" merely supply "us" with the materials.
