Dear angela, i defend no such thing. Nor do I un-defend it. I don't
personally know anyone who is doing this, deliberately. It seems we all do
it, one way or another, despite our best efforts. Everytime we buy shoes, it
seems these days. Your argument seems to me to be pointed in two directions,
and therefore is difficult to answer logically. Reading as deeply as I'm
able, are you trying to say that feminism, in and of itself, is anti-God?
(from the section not quoted). Or anti-ecology? forgive me, but I try to
answer you fairly and honestly, but you seem in this statement (in its
entirety)to be saying contrary things. As to hypocrisy, I just,. the more I
age, find I don't like to call someone a hypocrite till I've been in their
mocassins; I prefer to believe that what people say from their hearts, they
mean from their hearts. How I interpret that lesson is up to me. If I've
learned anything in life, it's that what we protest the most loudly about in
others' behavior is exactly what we are most blind to in our own. I've seen
this in myself enough to laugh out loud at times! I also know that some of
our best lessons come from contradiction and paradox, and that we cannot judge
another person's karmic role in our life. Life is a trickster!
