I think compiling these types of descriptions can help encourage us. In the
"First World", we are so surrounded by more of the same in a self-referential
loop that we forget that lifestyles that seem "impossible" to us (or at least
the media and the mediadrones around us) are being lived!!!
I think even the process of imagining oneself into such contexts creates a
shift in us whereby more becomes possible, where we can begin to shift our own
lifestyles.
Needless to say, one of the greatest ecological gifts a First World Consumer
can give to the planet is shifting hir lifestyle and habits.
