I am in the last stages of preparing for a presentation and was wondering
if anyone who has read or owns Carol Adams "The Sexual Politics of Meat"
could help me remember the title and author of the work she notes for
connecting the brutality of factory farms to that of slave ships. If I
remember correctly, she mentioned it somewhere in the book. If not if
anyone knows anything about it I would be much obliged. I just want to
make note of the work. I think it compared photos of both...Any input on
the subject matter would still be extremely interesting. Thanks!

Yours in a mad frenzy,

kristina

we abhor injustice and fight with all we've got against the evils of
racism and sexism while we objectify bodies, encourage the suffering of
the innocent, and allow our environment to be degraded with every bite of
factory farmed flesh we eat and every sip of cow's milk we drink.
we are lulled into a passive sleep when we refuse to connect the evils of
one injustice to those of another.
