Thank you to everyone who has given me information on ecofeminist resources. You
You all recommended great books, many of which I have. However, my request is
more specific which I should have made more clear.
I am looking for articles, books and people who explicitly connect education wi
with ecofeminism. So I only need ecofeminist resources which directly pertain
to pedagogy/education. I hope people will know of these kind of resources too.
Thanks again,
Kristin

Subject: Can you start a new list?

Lynsa or Torin,
For complex reasons, I feel that a new list needs to be started. I would
like a list that is a list about spirituality and green activism and how
we can entertwine them, and how the spiritual can motivate us in our
activism and vice versa, how we can use our spirituality (rituals and the
like) to provide us with healing when we suffer burn-out, as well as how
our activism is our spiritual "work", how we manifest and actualize the
spiritual aspects of our lives in positive and world-changing ways. There
are many people out there who are not the cawpagan-l list who would
probably like to be involved, and that is why I don't want this to be
strictly a list just geared toward Church of All Worlds folks.
I'm ccing this to a number of folks for various reasons, the main one
being that someone might be able to do it if you can't, but also to let
them know that I think that there is a need for this. There are lists
that cater strictly to the spiritual or strictly to ecofeminism or
strictly to whatever, but we have yet to have one that intertwines, what
for many of us is an essential aspect of our lives, and is our modus
operandi.
SO can you help me? I would be willing to CO-moderate, perhaps with a
few other moderators/list-owners. However, I don't want to be the only
moderator.
I think that this should be an interdenominational list, and I would like
it to also be one that is essentially activism geared toward shaking up
and changing the current paradigm (always doing my best to piss of the
religious right! <smirk>), so a name based toward "paradigm-shift",
ACTV!SPIRIT!, or whatever. Anyone can toss in an idea toward the name,
however.
So what thinkest thou, oh net gurus?
