Hi everyone! I'm very new to this list, and pretty ignorant to boot, so
please forgive aggravating questions. :) Anyways, I was wondering if
anyone on this list knows about the Green Party USA. I've read about the
German Greens, and they seem to really have some good ideas. Is the
US party comparable or even alive at all?

You could try looking at Philip Lowe's essay on the US Greens in the
very recently published (1995) Green Politics Three, edited by
Wolfgang Rudig and published by Edinburgh University Press.

In three and a half hours, I will go to the luncheon meeting of
the local Toastmasters. It is my task to chose and present the
word of the day. I was thinking of introducing the word, "womyn".
How do I define and suggest appropriate usage. Please answer ASAP
since I have to write it out... Thanks
